Chainless Shaft Drive System for Cyclists
The shaft drive system is incorporated with a joined gear connect with rear motor and gives high efficiency for the padel transmission and smooth riding experience. The DKY shaft drive lifetime is around 8- 10 years and a capable range for 300,000 km. Well-selected titanium material and fine titanium processing are the core component for the shaft drive.

The DKY new Retro R as a stylish vintage urban e-bike designed for easy city cycling, but also comfortable enough for the outdoors. The e-bike is equipped with a 500W high torque rear motor incorporated in the down tube and a vintage wine bottle battery with a capacity of 384Wh which is fully charged in less than 4 hours. In addition, the saddle, grips, battery wine bottle cover, and upper tube controller bag are made of Italian genuine leathers.

Handmade Stainless Steel 304 Frame
DKY frames are made with 2.5mm thick stainless steel 304 tubings, using diameters and thicknesses for a city ride performance feel. The stainless steel 304 tubing is left unpainted and fine polishing in every detail keeps it originally. We also have a process for removing extra material from the head tube and bottom brackets, which helps spread the gas that is purged throughout the frame during welding. Because welding alters the microstructure in a rainbow pattern, there is a variation in the strength of the stainless steel 304 in the HAZ (Heat Affected Zone). Post-weld heat treatment is used to homogenize the stainless steel’s microstructure, which can restore nearly all the strength lost during the welding process. This allows DKY stainless steel 304 frames to utilize thinner wall sections in the joint areas by as much as 20%.
